Cumberland High School was built in 1949 and became a permanent fixture to the backdrop of the valley that is Cumberland. Settled between the mountains of Pine and Black, it has brought a higher level of education to our community and created a place that thousands have called their own over the years.

The many games, proms and other events that have shaped our lives are still stored in our minds. We all have shared that special feeling that is CHS. But, the most important thing besides an education that the school has given us, is the friendships that we gained while there.

We have created a special place for the graduates past and future to come to and reunite with friends, teachers and anyone associated with the school. Please treat the site with respect and help us keep it a great site for our fellow students to visit.

• Please register with your full name and year of graduation, otherwise folks will not know who you are.
• We have a memorial section, so if you know of classmates that have passed away please let us know by using the email below.
• You are welcome to use our Yahoo group if you went to Cumberland to school even if it was grade school or what is now called elementary or Jr. High. We realize that many of you had to move and were unable to finish school at Cumberland, but it remains dear to your hearts.
• Forum officially opened on May 8, 2004 and closed in January 2007, but as stated above we now are using Yahoo groups.
• This site will remain open for memorials, reunion information and also pictures.
• Please send any pictures that you have that are group pictures to me and I will post them to the appropriate class year.
• If you have pictures and not a scanner, if you so desire you can mail them to me and I will scan and mail back to you. They will not be kept. We also like pictures of class reunions and the classes program from graduation.
